Privacy policy

This is a draft privacy policy for an early validation product. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer — treat it as a description of current practice, not a final legal document. See the trust center for a plainer-language version.

What we collect

• Intake answers: age range, country, climate, budget, goals, skin/hair details you provide.
• Photos you choose to upload for analysis.
• Email address, only once you reach the end of the assessment.
• Usage events (page views, button clicks, step completions) tied to an anonymous browser identifier, not your name.
• Basic marketing attribution: referrer, UTM parameters, device type.

What we don't collect

We don't fingerprint your device beyond a basic mobile/tablet/desktop check, and we don't buy third-party data about you.

How we use it

• To generate your appearance report and plan.
• To understand whether this product is worth building further (aggregate, de-identified analysis).
• To email you your report and, only if you opt in, occasional updates.

AI processing

Intake answers and photos may be sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic) to generate your report. We do not permit that provider to train on your data through this integration, and we do not separately use your photos for our own model training unless you opt in.

Storage & retention

Photos are stored in a private object storage bucket, accessed only via short-lived signed URLs. We don't yet have an automatic retention/expiry window — that's a known gap we'll close before any commercial launch. Until then, you can request deletion anytime.

Your rights

• Request a copy of your data.
• Request deletion of your photos and/or account via this page.
• Withdraw marketing consent anytime (unsubscribe link in any marketing email).
